Peel, wash, and slice potatoes paper thin. In a skillet over high heat melt butter add garlic and sauté for one minute. Add in heavy cream and seasoning and simmer for five minutes then cut the heat. In a baking dish sprayed With nonstick spray arrange half of the potatoes in to an even layer. Top with half the cream sauce then half the Parmesan and half cheddar cheese. Add another layer of the remaining potatoes. Top with remaining cream sauce and cheese. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for one hour at 400°.
