Ingredients

Fondue
1 clovegarlic
halved
1 cupdry white wine
1 tsplemon juice
2 ozgruyere cheese
shredded
8 ozemmentaler cheese
shredded
2 tspcornstarch
2 Tbspkirsch
white pepper
to taste
nutmeg
grated, to taste

Instructions
Step 1
Rub inside of fondue pot with cut garlic clove.
Step 2
Pour in wine and lemon juice; cook over medium heat until bubbly.
Step 3
Turn heat to low and gradually stir in cheeses.
Step 4
In a small bowl blend cornstarch with kirsch. Blend mixture into cheese.
Step 5
Continue to cook, stirring, for 2-3 minutes or until mixture is thick and smooth. Do not allow fondue to boil.
Step 6
Season with white pepper and nutmeg to taste; stir to combine.
Step 7
Serve hot with preferred dippers.
