"German" Pancakes

These are more akin to a crêpe than a true German pancake (a type of popover), but my family always called them "German pancakes". So there you are.

Instructions

Step 1
Beat eggs lightly with mixer. Add flour, salt, sugar, cream, and milk, then beat mixture for 5 minutes to make a smooth and light batter.
Step 2
Using a ¼ cup measure, pour batter into a hot, buttered skillet, rotating so that batter evenly covers the entire surface. Flip pancake when surface begins to look dry. After second side has cooked for a few seconds, flip out onto a dinner plate, and butter all sides (to keep pancakes from sticking to one another).
Step 3
Repeat until batter is gone. Enjoy!
