Instructions

Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except flour and water. Mix well. Slowly add the flour and water until the dough begins to lump in a ball in the bowl.
Step 2
On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 5 minutes. This is to activate the yeast. This step can be accomplished in a stand mixer with a dough hook.
Step 3
Let the dough rise in a covered bowl for 30 minutes or until it doubles in size.
Step 4
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Step 5
Gently punch the air from the risen dough then form into a rectangle.
Step 6
Grease a 9x5 loaf pan lightly. Place folded dough, seem side down in the loaf pan.
Step 7
Bake for about 45 minutes.
Step 8
Let the bread cool for 20 minutes before slicing.
