Instructions

Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine beef, onion, egg, parsley, bread crumbs and salt and pepper

Roll into 5 cm balls
Step 3
In a large skillet, brown meatballs in olive oil over medium-high heat
Step 4
Transfer meatballs to a slow cooker, discard fat and return pan to heat

Add red wine to hot pan and scrape brown bits from the bottom
Step 6
Allow wine to cook and reduce by half
Step 7
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and beef broth
Step 8
Stir in mixture into the wine, then pour over the meatballs.
Step 9
Over an cook on low for 4 hours
Step 10
Serve meatballs and sauce with rice or pasta
