Spaghetti Dried Chili and Bacon

Instructions

Step 1
First, cook the pasta in water and put salt a little bit for a better taste, cook for 5-6 minutes (depend on the instruction on the package) until done.
Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, put a pan on stove and add chopped bacon, cook until bacon is crisp and turn into brown color. Remove cooked bacon from the pan. Reserve bacon fat for only 1 tablespoon, discard the rest.
Step 3
Add Olive oil into the same pan. Add chopped onion and leave it cooked until they are golden brown in color. Add sliced garlic and leave it cooked , put mushroom into a pan and cook them until they are brown in color. Later, put tomatoes and cooked it until soft.
Step 4
Add dried chili, dried oregano into the pan and stir on low heat till aromatic.
Step 5
Get back to the Spaghetti that is cooked in boiled water. Drain from hot water and rinse with cold water. Drain the pasta from cold water and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and mixed with the pasta.
Step 6
Add cooked spaghetti and cooked bacon to the pan. Add salt and pepper as per taste. Toss everything well.
Step 7
Serve with chopped fresh parsley.
