Step 1
Cook spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add whole garlic cloves and chili flakes to the hot oil and sauté until garlic is golden.
Step 3
Add tomato paste to the pan and mix well.
Step 4
Pour half a cup of the pasta cooking water into the pan and mix well to dilute the sauce.
Step 5
Add the drained pasta to the pan with the sauce and mix well to coat the pasta.
Step 6
Finely chop fresh parsley and add it to the pasta.
Step 7
Salt to taste and serve immediately, garnished with more chopped parsley if desired. Enjoy your meal!
