Instructions

Start the pasta

Step 1
Start by getting a skillet large enough to fit your pasta and fill with enough water to just barely cover the pasta and put on high heat.

Start the Sauce

Step 2
Place your olive oil into large skillet, place on medium low to begin heating, mince the garlic, slice the mushrooms and place parsley stems allow to cook for 5-6 minutes stirring occasionally taking care not to burn the garlic.

Step 3
To another pot add your pasta with enough water to cover

After your pasta has been boiling for 6-7 minutes begin spooning your pasta water into your oil 1-2 tablespoons at a time, turn heat up to just under medium and cook adding pasta water as needed to create a sauce like consistency.. then add in chili flakes and continue cooking for 4 more minutes or until pasta is al dente

Finish the pasta

Step 5
Drain pasta reserving .5 cup of pasta water add garlic and mushroom sauce to drained pasta mixing and adding water as needed to ensure all noodles are coated. Heat on medium for another minute then add chopped parsley and continue mixing until everything is coated and distributed. Serve and enjoy!
