Instructions

Step 1
Melt butter over medium high heat, add minced garlic and cook for 1 min. Then add diced jalapeño and onion. Sautee for a couple of minutes
Step 2
Add rice to pan, and cook until lightly toasted and golden brown.
Step 3
Then add in salt, pepper, cumin, tomato sauce, broth. Mix together. Bring to boil then put lid on and reduce heat.
Step 4
Check rice at 10 min. If liquid remains, cover and cook for 5 more min. If not done, but broth is gone. Add a splash or 2 more of broth and cook for 5 more min.
Step 5
When done, fluff up, serve and eat
