Ingredients

1 lbpork shoulder
trimmed of fat and diced

0.5 lbbacon bits

1 tblspnolive oil
or rapeseed, extra virgin

1 tblspnsweet paprika

1leek
finely sliced

2cloves garlic
crushed

0.5lbeef stock

1can borlotti beans

2 tblspnpepper paste

1 tblspntomato puree

1 tblspnWorcester sauce

fresh herbs
oregano, pineapple sage, parsley, thyme

Instructions
Step 1
Fry bacon bits in oil until browned, add to stock in slowcooker but keep oil in frying pan.
Step 2
Fry leeks gently to soften and add to bacon and stock, keep oil.
Step 3
Fry pork to lightly brown, dry fry if short on oil. Add paprika for 2 mins and coat pork. Add to slowcooker.
Step 4
Add remaining ingredients bar beans and slow cook for 5 hours or until pork is tender.
Step 5
Add borlotti beans and cook for 1 or 2 hours more. Season.
