Step 1
Wash, clean and chop all the vegetables in small pieces. Keep the asparagus tips intact and keep them aside from the other vegetables.

Step 2
Pour some olive oil in a pot and when is warm ease down the vegetables. After this, poor some water, just enough to cover the vegetables. Add salt and pepper and cover the pot with a lid. Cook foe as long as it take to make the vegetables soft, it should take about 20 minutes. Remember to stir every now and then and add a bit of water if it is necessary.

Step 3
When the vegetables are soft, use an immersion blender to obtain a pureed soup. Adjust with salt and pepper if it is necessary. Add the asparagus tips and cook for 5 more minute before to serve.
