German Apple Cake
5 steps
Prep:20minCook:35min
This recipe is from a 1978 cookbook made to celebrate the Centennial anniversary of St. Augustine Church in Schuyler, Nebraska. It’s a compilation of recipes submitted by women of the church. This particular recipe was submitted by Mrs. Emma Buresh and can be found on page 93. Note that the “salad oil” this recipe calls for can be any type of light, tasteless oil such as vegetable or canola. Also, this recipe recommends serving with whipped topping, so I added it to the recipe list.
