Ingredients

2 Tbsplight brown sugar
1 stickunsalted butter
1 packetyeast

4 ½ cupsall-purpose flour
1 cuplight beer
1 tspsalt
¼ cupbaking soda
1egg
whisked for egg wash
butter
melted, for brushing
½ cupgranulated sugar
1 Tbspcinnamon
Glaze
Instructions
Step 1
Mix yeast, warm water and light brown sugar
Step 2
Let sit for 5 minutes, until yeast is foamy
Step 3
Then using a dough hook on a kitchen aid, add the flour, beer, butter and salt
Step 4
Mix until the dough is formed
Step 5
Then add the dough to a oiled bowl, cover and let rise for an hour
Step 6
After dough rises, bring a pot of water to a boil and turn your oven to 425 degrees

Divide your dough into 6 equal pieces then roll them out into pretzels

Add the baking soda to the boiling water then boil each pretzel for one minute
Step 9
Brush each boiled pretzel with egg wash and then bake them for 15 minutes or until golden and crispy

When the pretzels are done, combine the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and melt the remaining butter in a separate bowl
Step 11
When the pretzels are done, brush them with butter then roll them in the cinnamon sugar
Step 12
Mix the confectioners sugar and milk to make the glaze and enjoy!
