Instructions
Step 1
In large but shallow pot, cook pasta till al dente. Reserve 1 c pasta water before draining and setting aside.
Step 2
Cook peas while pasta is cooking
Step 3
Melt butter in pasta pot. Add fresh garlic till aromatic, then add shrimp and sprinkle with cajun seasoning. Cook till almost completely pink, remove from pan and set aside. They will continue cooking off the heat. Do Not overcook.
Step 4
In the same pot, saute the chorizo till it loosens up, then add pepper and onion mix and sliced kielbasa if using. Cook till chorizo is all the way cooked and kielbasa has browned. Add additional veggies here if you want them (cherry tomatoes, shredded carrot, broccoli, shredded cabbage, etc)
Step 5
Add creamy alfredo sauce to pan with sausage and peppers. Stir well to combine.
Step 6
Add pasta to pan with sauce and toss to coat. Add reserved pasta water to loosen as needed.
Step 7
Add peas and shrimp. Sprinkle with parmesan and toss well.
Step 8
Squeeze lemon juice over all if desired.
