Step 1
Chop onion and heat in a pan with olive oil on medium heat. Add garlic when the onion is translucent. Let it set on heat until the garlic is aromatic. Add ground beef and brown it with spices, salt, and pepper. If there's a lot of fat rendered, drain the meat. Add your tomato sauce and allow to reach a heat where it begins to simmer. Set off to the side with a lid.
Step 2
Separately, fill the pot with enough water and some salt. Bring to a boil, and cook pasta to your desire.
Step 3
Strain pasta and put sauce on pasta either in the same pot or separately in a bowl or on a plate.
