Ingredients needed (along with cooked/leftover rice)

In a non-stick pan, heat oil on a low flame, and add mustard seeds. As they begin to crackle, add hing, chana dal, urad dal, and peanuts.
Step 3

As the lentils turn golden brown, add curry leaves, green chillies, and dried red chillies, and fry well. Add haldi and mix.
Step 4

Add cooked / leftover rice and salt, and mix. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the rice and fry. Serve hot.
