Step 1

Take a bowl of cooked, leftover rice and mash it slightly.
Step 2

Add finely chopped corriander, green chillies, and curry leaves to the rice, along with salt to taste.
Step 3

Mix well.
Step 4

Add curd in the desired quantity. This dish can be made runny or thick, depending on your preference.
Step 5

For the tempering, take cooking oil in a tadka pan, and add mustard seeds.
Step 6

As soon as the mustard seeds begin to cackle, add urad dal and hing.
Step 7

Finally, add curry leaves and dried red chilli.
Step 8

Pour the tempering onto the curd rice and mix well.
Step 9

Keep in the fridge for sometime and eat chilled with pickle.
