Béchamel
Instructions
Step 1
1. Blend tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapeño, garlic, and half an onion until mixture turns chunky.
Step 2
2. Sauté onions in a large pot with olive oil until it’s translucent and golden brown. Add the beef and sauté until it is cooked through then add the spices.

3. Pour in the tomato mixture in the beef with following the tomato paste and let that simmer in medium heat for 5 minutes.

4. After tomato sauce has simmered set that off to the side.
Béchamel

5. In large pot over the stove melt the butter all the way through and add your flour and let it cook until it turns a little bit darker or until mixture smells nutty.

Add the milk, chicken bouillon, and spices and mix on high heat until Béchamel turns thick.

7. After béchamel turns thick set it off to the side

In a 9x13-inch casserole or lasagna dish, pour a cup of the béchamel sauce and spread it over the bottom of the dish. Arrange one layer of lasagna noodles lengthwise (about 4 long noodles, edge may overlap, depending on your pan) over the sauce. Pour another layer of bechamel and spread it evenly.
Step 9
Add another layer of lasagna. Then add your tomato sauce and spread it out evenly. Start alternating the sauce. Ending the layer with béchamel.
Step 10
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and cover with foil.
Step 11
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour. Then broil it until cheese gets golden brown.
