I used a chunk of leftover frozen spiral cut ham from the holidays. It had a brown sugar glaze, which is why I added some brown sugar.

Instructions

Step 1
Rinse beans. Soak overnight.
Step 2
Place beans, ham, water, and onion powder to taste in slow cooker.
Step 3
Cook on high for 5 hours or on low for 7.
Step 4
Once beans are soft, add garlic salt and brown sugar to taste.
