Instructions

Step 1
Cook chkn in pan til brown Add onion til softened Chop carots & add with peas Add chkn stock til covers ingredients, thyme & bay leaf Cook for 20mins. Preheat oven to 200 degC For white sauce: Mix 4 tbsp cornflour & 1 pint milk in a jug, add seasoning Microwave for 2 min intervals til sauce thickens Drain chkn pot but keep some stock Add white sauce & some of stock Put into dish & add pastry on top, pressing into sides & cut off extra that hangs over Make small criss-cross in the centre with a knife Brush on thin amount of milk to brown Cook in oven for 20-30mins til pastry is brown.
