Instructions

Step 1
Combine lime juice, salt, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, oregano, onion powder, and black pepper to make a rub.
Step 2
Cut pork shoulder into 3 pieces, removing any excess fat and generously cover with rub.
Step 3
Place pork shoulder in slow cooker (along with any leftover rub) and top with the orange slices.
Step 4
6-8 hours on low setting
Step 5
Discard orange slices and shred the pork
Step 6
Optional: place shredded pork in a large skillet on medium heat for 3-4 minutes to crisp it up and mix flavor
