My twist on Russian Tea Cakes.

Instructions

Step 1
1) In a bowl mix flours and salt. Set aside.
Step 2
2) Cream together butter and sugar. Add in extracts, bourbon and water.
Step 3
3) Combine butter mixture and dry ingredients, and mix until dough forms.
Step 4
4) Fold in nuts.
Step 5
5) On parchment paper, divide into two logs. Bake at 350 until golden brown, and let cool.
Step 6
6) Once cool, cut on a diagonal and place pieces on parchment paper. Bake again until crisp.
Step 7
7) Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy.
