Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 c pasta water.

Step 3
Toss whole tomatoes and olive oil with salt and pepper until combined. Pour into a baking dish.

Place feta in the center of the tomatoes and season with another pinch of pepper. Bake until tomatoes burst, about 30 minutes.

Increase heat to 450 degrees and continue to cook until golden brown, about 10-15 more minutes.

Step 6
Remove from oven and immediately stir in garlic. Smash tomatoes and combine with feta into a creamy sauce. Toss in half the basil and mix with pasta. Serve and top with remanining basil.
