Instructions
Step 1
Rinse bag of Peas in a colander
Step 2
Put Peas, Ham Hock, chopped Potatoes, chopped Carrots into slow cooker on high. Cover with water or stock
Step 3
As it warms, add Sausage (cut into bite size pieces now or later)
Step 4
Cut onion into half. Chop one half into small pieces and mix into soup. Put other half (unchopped) into soup.
Step 5
Add Thyme, Bay Leaf and Cloves.
Step 6
Heat for one hour.
Step 7
Add chopped Ham
Step 8
Simmer for another hour
Step 9
Before serving, remove half Onion, Ham Bone, Bay Leaf, Cloves
