Instructions

Step 1
Wash rice in pot and add to pot. Add water to the pot. Bring water to boil, add avocado oil to prevent sticking, let content cook for 20 minutes or till rice soften. (米洗干净后加入锅中。锅中加适量的水,加入一点牛油果油,充分搅拌防止米粒粘底。煮大约20分钟至米粥粘稠。)
Step 2
This step is for an option of adding protein (pork, beef, shrimp, chicken, etc.). Cut protein into bite size. Add cooking wine, ginger, tapioca starch, white pepper and soy sauce to it and let marinate for 10 minutes. Add protein to porridge once rice water in boiling pot gets viscous. (要做白粥的朋友可省略这一步骤。将肉切成小块,加入料酒、姜丝、生粉、白胡椒粉和酱油,抓匀腌制10分钟。待粥煮稠后可加入锅中。)
Step 3
This step is for an option of adding veggies (lettuce, mushrooms, Chinese broccoli, etc.) to the porridge. Wash vegetable, and cut into bite size. Once protein is fully cooked, add veggies to the pot and stir. For firmer texture, let content boil for 5-10 minutes, otherwise turn off heat and add salt and mushroom powder to porridge to serve. (想制作白粥的朋友可以跳过此步骤。将想加入粥里的蔬菜洗净切丁备用。待肉在粥中煮熟后加入蔬菜,搅拌均匀。想吃软一点的蔬菜的话,在锅中煮5到10分钟。粥制作完成后关火加少许盐和菌菇粉即可。)
