Instructions

Step 1
Bake tomatoes, feta, garlic, oil and chili flakes in a baking dish at 400 deg F for 40 minutes

Step 2
In the last 25 minutes, start a pot of boiling water for de pasta
Step 3
Boil pasta with salt just until your Italian friend turns from a smile to a frown. Keep and reserve a cup or two of the pasta water, drain the rest
Step 4
Take tomato mix out of oven, break up the feta and add pasta with half of the chopped basil
Step 5
Add in the pasta water, mix well until it thickens and no water or oil remains, add remainder of basil on top and enjoy
