Glaze
Step 1
Mix apple juice, brown sugar, sage, and dijon in a pot and reduce it by about half, or until you get tired of waiting and throw in some corn starch to thicken it up. I didn't put corn starch in the ingredients though...
Step 2
Add cayenne pepper to taste. You don't want this one spicy. You just want that little kick to the back of your mouth to know its there.
Step 3
Once the glaze is nice and thick, pour over the ham. I always use a spiral cut ham so I can separate the slices and get the glaze and seasoning down into the meat.
Step 4
Jab toothpicks all over the place to hold the pineapples and cherries. If you don't like pineapples and cherries on your ham, jab 'em anyway cuz they don't like you either.
Step 5
Bake it! In the oven! Follow whatever time and temp instructions came on the ham, I'll add my own later.
Step 6
Periodically, scoop and cover, scoop and cover. I forgot the word, bruh. Baste? Re-glaze? You know what I mean.
Step 7
Flambé with a blow torch!
