Instructions

Sautéed onions

Step 1
Slice the onion.
Step 2
Heat the oil in the pan. Reduce the heat to medium and add the onions and seasoning. Fry for about 3min until they start turning slightly brown.
Step 3
Add 2 tbsp of water and stir. Fry for another minute. Repeat this step 2-3 times until the onions become golden brown.

Crispy goat cheese

Step 4
Slice the goat cheese.
Step 5
Wrap each cheese slice with 1 slices of bacon.
Step 6
Heat the the pan. Leave the heat on medium high. Add the wrapped cheese slices and fry for about 1,5-2min each side until the bacon is crispy and golden brown.

Sandwich

Step 7
Spread each bread slice with olive oil and toast until golden brown,
Step 8
Spread the bottom bread half with the fig mustard.
Step 9
Top it with the sautéed onions, arugula and crispy goat cheese.
Step 10
Season with pepper and drizzle on the honey.
Step 11
Stack the other bread half on top and enjoy!
