Instructions
Step 1
Heat the oil in a frying pan. Sauté the onion, garlic, carrots, and mushrooms until soft.
Step 2
Add the meat and cook until it loses its red color.
Step 3
Stir in tomato sauce, vinegar, ketchup, molasses, Worcestershire, paprika, and chili powder.
Step 4
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5
Serve over toasted buns. Top with shredded cheese and run under the broiler briefly.
