Rinse the rice!
Step 2
Dice up onions, garlic and bell peppers
Cooking the rice

Turn stove to medium heat and coat the bottom of a frying pan with olive oil

Add the garlic and onion and sauté
Step 5
Add the salt, pepper, and cumin to the onion and mix well
Step 6
Add bell pepper and continue to cook another 2-3 minutes.
Step 7
Add water to mix and bring to a boil.
Step 8
Add Rice to boiling mixture and stir constantly until water begins to absorb.
Step 9
throw in cilantro and stir.
Step 10
Turn down to low heat and cover pan with aluminum foil, add pan lid if possible for best results.

Cook for 23 minutes or until rice is done.
