Instructions

Step 1
Peel and coarsely grate the carrot. Mix with vinegar, salt and sugar and set aside to pickle while you prepare everything else.

Drain and cut the halloumi into two slices for each burger bun. Slice the tomatoes and cut the cucumber into ribbons with a vegetable peeler.

Toast the cut sides of the burger buns until light golden, then set aside. Coat the halloumi slices in the oil and cook under the grill until golden.
