Instructions

Step 1
So i don’t really have any measurements for this, but basically start off with 2 cups of the flour and gradually add warm water to the mix until it’s a nice texture. it shouldn’t be sticky to your fingers and it should be easily manageable. Add salt too to your liking. you can eat the dough too to see how much salt you want or need to put in, it’s soo good.
Step 2
Then you want to grab a cup and fill it with water. Wet your hands and the dough so it doesn’t crack as much. if it does crack then just keep adding water to your hand but don’t overdo it. Form the dough into a ball and form it into a thin ish circular disk. If you have a parrilla (grill) you can place them to cook and once the bottom looks cooked, like when you tap it it can make a sound then flip it until you can do the same on the other side. You can also put them on a pan on your stove with some oil or butter and let them cook good.
Step 3
if you really like the dough or shaping them is just too hard then you can make them into balls that you flatten on the top and the inside is supposed to be soft and it’s soooo good. then when they’re all cooked you spread butter on the top and some cheese. Esta receta es de mi abuela y somos colombianos. This recipe is from my grandma and we are colombians!!!! We also don’t really measure much hahah.
Step 4
This is also mostly eaten for breakfast. and the small balls are eaten with dinner along with rice, beans and meat in the colombian culture.
