Instructions

Step 1
Prepare the beans in advance by boiling for the correct time
Step 2
Chop the onion and sweat the pieces in the vegetable oil.
Step 3
When the onion is soft, add the cooked beans and continue to cook over medium heat, stirring often, for five more minutes.
Step 4
To the beans, add 2 chopped plum tomatoes.
Step 5
Continue to cook, stirring frequently, for 3 more minutes.
Step 6
Add the water, beef stock cubes, tomato paste, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and some freshly ground pepper to the pot. Stir to incorporate.
Step 7
Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Add more water if needed
