Instructions
Step 1
Melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until softened
Step 2
Add milk and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Add cornmeal, a little at a time and stir after each addition.
Step 4
Stir in creamed corn and whole corn kernels.
Step 5
Add salt, sugar and black pepper and stir to combine.
Step 6
Add 1 beaten egg a little at a time while stirring vigorously.
Step 7
Add cheese and mix in.
Step 8
Place in a greased baking dish and bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
