Vegetarian Chickpea Patties

7 steps
Prep:15minCook:30min
I'm trying to add that fricking recipe for the second time already, so I'm not writing it all over again. I don't remember the amounts I used, so imma be improvising here - feel free to adjust them to your liking. I usually don't care about the instructions, so you'll need to trust your gut.

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to like 200 degrees Celsius and set it to convection setting
OvenOvenPreheat
Step 2
Boil you lentils, but don't overcook them. They can't be too soggy, so make sure you get rid of the excess water after they are done cooking.
Step 3
I used canned (glass-jar-ed) chickpeas, but if you wish to use dried ones, you'll have to cook them obv
Step 4
Throw all your legumes, spices and herbs into your food processor (bowl if you're using a hand blender like I did) and blend them to a consistency somewhat similar to hummus, but it can be less smooth

Step 5
Add the coconut flour and whey protein and mix (I recommend a silicone spatula)
Step 6
Form the patties (like 4-5cm in diameter, I had 6 of such from these estimated amounts) and roll them in the panko if you wish to use it.
Step 7
Put the patties on the baking sheet and bake for like 20 minutes. After that start checking every few minutes if the patties seem to be rather dense and compact instead of soggy and viscous. If they are, they are ready!
