Ingredients

20 ozground beef
or Turkey

3carrots
medium

2stalks of celery

Purple onion
medium

2 cupsSpinach

6 ozPeas frozen

1 cupcheese
favorite

4 tspGarlic powder

4 tspThyme

4 TbspTomato paste

2 TbspAncho chili powder
optional

2 Tbspflour

4 TbspBeef stock concentrate

2 Tbspsour cream

2 Tbspolive oil

salt
to taste

Instructions
Step 1
Boil water for potato's
Step 2
Dice celery , carrots and onions
Step 3
Peel and cook potatoes ( whatever method you like)
Step 4
Cook celery,onions and carrots till softened generally cooking on medium
Step 5
Remove from pan , set aside
Step 6
Brown meat with salt and pepper, drain
Step 7
Add veggies back in along with spinach and peas, Garlic powder and thyme ( ancho chili)

Add tomato paste , flour cook for one minute
Step 9
Add 1/2 cup of water and beef stock
Step 10
Simmer till mixture is thick , while simmering mash potatoes with butter and sour cream
Step 11
Spread mash potatoes over mixture in oven safe pan or casserole dish and layer cheese on broil on hi till golden brown watch carefully ( can reserve some time to sprinkle on cheese for color and flavor ) approx 5 mins
