This nutritious breakfast is perfect to make on a Sunday, as you can have ready-to-go breakfast throughout the entire week. For an even bigger nutritional boost, I decided to experiment with this recipe by adding a tablespoon of maca powder to the mixture. The result? Amazing!

Instructions

Step 1
Mix 2 cups of old-fashioned oats, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/2 cup of pitted cherries, and a tablespoon of maca powder. Once the oats and the cherries are coated in the cinnamon and maca powder, add 1 1/2 cups of milk, 1 mashed banana, and 2 whole eggs to the mixture and stir until fully combined.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and pour the mixture into a casserole or baking dish. Spread the mixture evenly among the dish. Garnish with another teaspoon of cinnamon and mix in the baking dish. Bake the mixture for 35-40 minutes or until crisp around the edges and soft but firm on top. Wait ten minutes before slicing. Serve immediately or enjoy later for a healthy and tasty meal.
