Dough
Heat the milk to 100-105F degrees, add yeast, salt and sugar, stir well, let it rest for 10 minutes. Add eggs and soft butter. Stir. Pour in flour, knead the dough. The dough should be quite sticky, but easy to get out of hand. Put in oiled bowl for 1 hour

Filling
Finely chop the cabbage. Grate the carrot. Mix together, add salt and slightly press using your hands. Saute for 5 min, add water and stew under lid for 10-15 minutes until cabbage is soft. Then let it cool

Cut the dough and make small balls. Using your hand make it flat. Add 1-2 tbsp of the filling, close up, bend the sharp edges, turn the pirogok over with the seam down. Let stand for 8-10 minutes, grease with an egg. Bake at 360F until golden brown about 20 minutes. Let it cool 15 minutes and enjoy!
