Instructions
Step 1
Remove any discolored leaves, cut off stem ends, and wash thoroughly.
Step 2
Heat 1" salted water (1/2 teaspoon salt to 1 cup water) to boiling.
Step 3
Add Brussels sprouts. Cover and heat to boiling.
Step 4
Cook 8 to 10 minutes or until tender.
Step 5
Drain and set aside to cool. Once cool enough cut each sprout in half. Set aside.
Step 6
In large skillet, cook onion powder in butter until butter is melted.
Step 7
Blend in flour, brown sugar, mustard and salt.
Step 8
Stir in milk. When thickened, blend in sour cream.
Step 9
Add Brussels sprouts, cook until heated through.
