Prosciutto & Tortellini with Peas๐
Delicious light Marinara/White Wine dish - simply scrumptious - and OH SO EASY

Ingredients
6 servings
1 Tbspolive oil
2 Tbspbutter
2cloves garlic
chopped
1 cupyellow onion
diced
0.5 CupProsciutto
Chopped
1 lbFresh Tortellini
or Frozen
1 x 3lchicken stocking
ยผ cupwhite wine
1 Tbspparsley
chopped
ยพ cupfresh tomato sauce
I used Marinara sauce
1 ozfrozen baby peas
box or bagged
salt
pepper
to taste
Instructions
Step 1
- Bring 12 Qt. Pot of water to a boil to cook tortellini. - Take a 6 Quart pot and add the oil, butter, garlic and onion.
- Sautรฉ until onion is clear.. Add the parsley, tomato sauce, chicken stock and wine.
- Simmer, with lid on, for five minutes.
- Add prosciutto and peas
- Simmer a few minutes until the peas are cooked but not discolored.
- Boil tortellini until just tender and drain well.
- Add tortellini to the sauce and serve with grated cheese.
NOTE: Due to pea allergies, I keep the frozen baby peas separate in a bowl. Those who want peas, I add to their bowl. As long as you mix the individual dishes a few times, the peas are fine. Nice and snappy.. not mushy!
