Elegant and Delicious Plum Crumble

I had some plums sitting around in a fruit bowl for quite some time - they just refused to go bad so I can throw them away... :D
So one night I went looking for something to do with them and came across this beautiful recipe...
Now I am so happy they didn't want to "give up" because I discovered this simple way to make an amazing and yummy dessert!

Plum Filling
200gplums
pitted and cut into smaller cubes
0.5juiced lemon
25gbrown sugar
1 pinchground cinnamon
1 tspplain flour
Crumble
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180C.
Prepare the filling
Step 2

Place the fruit and lemon juice in a large bowl and sprinkle over the sugar, flour and cinnamon. Stir well being careful not to break up the fruit.
Prepare the crumble
Step 3
Place the flour, buttler, salt and sugar in a large bowl and start crumbling together using your hands until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add almonds at the end and lightly mix together.
Bake and serve
Step 4

Spoon the fruit mixture into ovenproof small individual portions baking cups like ramekins, then sprinkle the crumble mixture on top.
Step 5
Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes until the crumble is browned and the fruit mixture bubbling.
Step 6

Serve hot! (ok, not too hot... leave it at least 5-10 minutes before eating)
