Weeknight Spaghetti with Meatballs

You can make spaghetti diner in under 30 minutes without resorting to a sugar and sodium packed store bought sauce. Those meatballs we made on Sunday are going to make tonight’s dinner fun.

Instructions

Step 1
In a large saucepan heat olive oil and saute onions and garlic. Cook until onions are soft.
Step 2
Add tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper. Add meatballs and simmer to thicken and reduce the sauce
Step 3
Taste for seasoning and add salt & pepper if needed (can also add some crushed chili flakes or basil if desired)
Step 4
Bring a large pot of well salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions.
Step 5
Drain pasta, toss with sauce. Top with fresh parmesan
