Instructions
Step 1
Dice the onion, cut the tomatoes in half and mince the garlic and basil.
Step 2
Start cooking your pasta according package instructions.
Step 3
Heat the oil in the pan. Leave the heat on medium high. Add the onion and garlic and fry for about 2-3min until slightly brown.
Step 4
Add the tomatoes and fry for another 2min.
Step 5
Now pure in the vodka and let it reduce for 1-2min.
Step 6
Add the sieved tomatoes and let simmer for 3min.
Step 7
Pure in the heavy cream, 2 tbsp of pasta water and add the seasoning. Let simmer for another 3min.
Step 8
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well.
