Instructions

For new rice

Step 1
add cups of chicken broth in the casserole and turn on the heat.
Step 2
add rinsed rice, turmeric powder, salt, butter.
Step 3
increase the heat and bring to boil.
Step 4
reduce heat, allow to simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed. take note to cover the casserole.
Step 5
open the cover and turn off the heat. allow it to sit for about 5 minutes to dry.

For old rice

Step 6
on a hot pan, add chicken oil and stir for a while.
Step 7
add garlic and saute on medium flame setting until lightly roasted.
Step 8
add turmeric powder and continue to saute for another 10 seconds. then, add the margarine and stir until it melts.
Step 9
add the rice and set the flame on highest setting and mix thoroughly until all the grains are well-coated.

add salt to taste.

For shawarma beef

Step 11
add cooking oil on a hot pan.

add minced garlic and saute for about 20 seconds over low heat.

add the beef and saute over high heat.

add the light soy sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, chili powder, and ground black pepper. mix and saute after for about 4-5 minutes over high heat.

For the sauce

add mayonnaise, evaporated milk, white vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and white sugar on a bowl and mix well. for spiciness, add chili powder or hot sauce.

use strainer or colander to remove the garlic from the sauce and have a smooth texture.

For side dish

Step 17
slice the cucumbers.

chop tomatoes and onions into cubes.

slice or shred cabbage into small pieces.
