Instructions
Step 1
In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese and sugar together until it's smooth and the sugar is kinda dissolved.
Step 2
Mix/whisk 2 egg yolks and corn starch in the bowl until thick and smooth.
Step 3
Pour milk into the mixture and whisk until smooth.
Step 4
Sieve the mixture into a pot to take out the corn starch clumps.
Step 5
Heat pot on stove medium heat. Mix constantly so it doesn't burn until thick and smooth.
Step 6
Brush a mold (preferably 14cm circular) with oil on bottom on sides. Pour the hot mix into the mold for shape.
Step 7
Cover mold in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Step 8
Remove custard and slice however you'd like. Place on baking sheet and brush each piece with remaining egg yolk.
Step 9
Heat in oven at 180-190°C for 15-20 minutes until top of custard is slightly burnt.
Step 10
Plate while hot and enjoy!
