Step 2

Step 3
While the broccoli cooks, heat a drizzle of oil in a large frying pan on high heat. Season the pork with salt and pepper. Once hot, add the pork steaks to the pan. Cook until browned, 2-3 mins on each side. IMPORTANT: Wash your hands and equipment after handling raw meat.

Step 4
When the broccoli has 6-8 mins remaining, transfer the pork to the broccoli baking tray to roast on the top shelf of your oven until cooked through, 6-8 mins. IMPORTANT: The pork is cooked when no longer pink in the middle. Once cooked, transfer to a plate, cover and allow the pork to rest. Set the pan aside for later - no need to clean.

Step 5
In the meantime, heat a separate large frying pan on medium heat with a drizzle of oil. Add the kale and a splash of water and cover until the kale is wilted, 5-6 mins. Add the remaining garlic and cook, 1 min more. Season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, heat the frying pan used for the pork on medium-high heat. Add the peanut butter, soy sauce, coconut yoghurt, Indonesian style spice and water (see pantry). Mix to combine. Season with salt and pepper. Heat until warmed through, 2-3 mins. Stir in any pork resting juices.

Step 6
Once cooked and rested, slice the pork widthways into 1cm slices. Serve the pork steaks with the garlic roasted broccoli and sauteed kale alongside. Pour the satay inspired sauce over everything and sprinkle with the black sesame seeds.
