Instructions

Step 1
Place in large skillet; beef, 2 tablespoons flour, salt and pepper in large resealable bag shake to coat beef. Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium high heat, add beef and stir to brown evenly. Transfer beef to slow cooker and return skillet to heat deglaze pan by adding some beef stock and scraping up the brown bits pour into the slow cooker with beef. To the slow cooker also add; Beef broth, potatoes, carrots, corn, celery, onion, garlic, parsley, rosemary, and thyme Mix well. Cook on high for 4 to 6 hours or on low for 10 to 12 hours. If you would like a thicker stew combined 1/4 cup water and 2 tablespoons flour in a small bowl and gradually add to stew while stirring cook for 30 minutes on high and serve.
