Instructions
Step 1
Peel yams and cut into thick round sections
Step 2
Cut round sections into equal yamsticks and rinse with water
Step 3
Boil yams with small salt until soft, drain and set aside
Step 4
In a large bowl, add flour, spices and mix until well combined
Step 5
Crack eggs in a small bowl, add milk, salt and mix
Step 6
Coat yams sticks with flour mixture and dip into egg mixture and coat again with flour mixture
Step 7
Gently drop into oil on medium heat
Step 8
Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown
Step 9
Place on paper towels to drain excess oil
Step 10
Serve and enjoy
