Chipotle & squash chilli with jalapeno dumplings

Ingredients

2 Tbspsunflower oil

1onion
medium, sliced

3 clovesgarlic
crushed

½ tspground cumin

1 Tbspsmoked paprika

0.5butternut squash
2cm cubes
400gplum tomatoes can

400gblack beans

1 ½ Tbspchipotle paste

125gself raising flour

½ tspsalt

60gbutter
cubed and chilled

80gcheddar grated

1jalapeno
chopped

Soured cream
to serve, optional
Instructions
Step 1
Put all ingredients up to flour in slow cooker on low 7-8 hours, then make dumplings (butter, flour salt breadcrumbs, add cheese and jalapeno, mix with 4tbsp cold water). Put in oven proof dish, cook at 200C for 20-25 min
