Instructions

In a measuring jug add the water and yeast and stir to combine and to allow the yeast to bloom.

In another bowl add the sieved flour. Then sprinkle the salt and add the olive oil.

With your hands knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it has become smooth and formed a ball.

Remove the dough in one hand and add a bit of olive oil to the bowl and rub around. This stops the dough sticking to the bowl when rising. Pop the dough back in the bowl. Cover with cling film or a damp tea towel and leave in a warm place for 2 hours to rise.

Cover each ball of dough with cling film and allow to rest again either in the freezer until you need it or in the fridge for another 2 hours.

When you are ready to create a pizza, remove from the fridge and use your hands to pull the pizza dough into a base. Sprinkle some semolina and flour onto a pizza tray and place the base on top. Decorate with your favourite toppings and then bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees celsius for 8-10 minutes.
